| Growing The process of growing of plants is an amazing phenomenon. |

| These images show flowers and plants in varying stages of growth - from the fattening bud of an Amaryllis to a 500 year old Douglas fir on Vancouver's North Shore. Take a look through my close-up lens at a young fern frond arching gracefully, the spiky shoots of an iris, the chartreuse buds on a Redtwig dogwood, or at the proud-erect lupins. Take a close-up look at elegantly curved young tulip leaves, or the Australian fan palm, that could be models for an architect's or an engineer's design - the variety seems to be endless.
